About the artist

ZEST is a group of people with architectural and design solutions. We are four architects with different specializations and a history of 6 years and dozens of projects worked together. We and you can achieve extraordinary results if we share the appreciation for 4 things: communication, respect, innovation, details. Communication is at least as important as implementation.

Delta Lamp

Delta lamp started out with a material study, or to be precise testing the potential of certain materials. The intention was to enhance the properties of a material by combining the flexibility of textiles with the rigidity of plastics, and to generate a ruled surface but also compliant.

Although the obtained effect led to an appreciated product, the method to glue the triangles on the base material could not be automated. This resulted into a failure, having a product too expensive to produce compared to its market value.
